The Kingdom Day Parade

Philo celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. at the 31st annual Kingdom Day Parade in Los Angeles, CA. Families and friends lined the streets of Crenshaw, cheering and dancing to the music of the passing school bands and floats. Dr. King’s message of unity and perseverance was apparent as countless nonprofit organizations and social service agencies rolled by sporting the words, “Our Work Is Not Yet Done”. Philo commends the Congress Of Racial Equality of California (CORE-CA) for hosting the wonderful event. Dr. King was an incredible organizer and Philo hopes these photos remind you of the immense power in positive social organization.
