Weekend Recommendations

If you’re bored this weekend here are some Netflix movies and TED talks you might enjoy:

Barry – If you haven’t seen it already, it’s a good film to watch if your feeling nostalgic about our last president. The movie orientates itself around the complex topic of identity and diversity.

Requiem for a Dream – WARNING this movie is intense. Nonetheless it is still a great classic with drug abuse at the center of it. Trust me, you’re in for a wild trip.

13 – An amazing piece that brings awareness to a system of injustice that has morphed in appearance but never in function over time.

Ted Talks –

How Virtual Reality can Create the Ultimate Empathy Machine – This is one of the reasons we are brining virtual reality to Artspire this year…

What does it mean to be a Refugee – The facts, and a little more.
